Our History

Extended meet started by the Clinton Kinsmen in 1970 with the introduction of Pari-Mutuel Wagering. In 1983, after much dedication, and hard work the Clinton Kinsmen the decision was made to turn the reins over to a board of directors, and in March of 1983 Clinton Raceway Inc was formed, a non profit organization. 

Since then, live racing has continued to thrive in the small community, with an average of 15 live dates a year, Clinton is the heart of harness racing from May - September with a live race post time of 1:30pm

Clinton Raceway is committed to helping local group, clubs and associations by holding fundraising events at the track. We welcome all non profit organizations to get in touch with us to discuss how we can help. 

Being a non profit organization, Clinton Raceway injects all of it's profits back into the industry, through fundraising, wages, promotions, purses and infrastructure etc.
